Tech Tips:
Please ensure the friction surfaces of the pressure plate and the flywheel have been thoroughly cleaned/degreased with a suitable solvent cleaner such as Brake Cleaner or Acetone.
This must be carried out prior to fitting to remove the any grease, oil and factory shipping/storage corrosion inhibitors.
Failure to to clean this will contaminate the clutch friction disc and void the warranty.

Ensure the clutch disc is installed facing in the correct direction prior to fitting the pressure plate, the clutch disc will be marked saying either “Gearbox side, Engine side, Flywheel side” or a combination of these depending on the brand fitted.
With the pilot shaft/clutch plate alignment tool still installed; install and tighten the pressure plate retaining bolts in a diagonal sequence around the assembly to 29 Nm
Note: Do not use any form or lubricant or thread lock compound on the pressure plate bolts, they must be installed clean and dry.
